Of European descent, Lucia was educated there and in Toronto as an Early Childhood Educator. After moving to Canada in 1991, she worked as a nanny for 17 years, initially while putting herself through school at George Brown College and York University and later as her full-time employment. Lucia is currently a candidate for a degree in Specialized Psychology.

Throughout those 17 years, Lucia was personally and professionally associated with several nanny and caregiving agencies in the Toronto area and elsewhere. She learned what true customized loving care is from the standpoint of the provider (the nanny/caregiver) and the recipient (the families/clients). She also gained valuable expertise and touched many lives through her work beyond nanny-ing and caregiving as a service provider in various public childcare facilities and schools.

Along the way, Lucia not only gained professional and personal experience in various caregiving and school settings, she also remained committed to constantly upgrading her education and related skills. This never-ending pursuit of knowledge that can be applied to the professional setting comes through in all that Lucia does for the families she works with and the nannies and caregivers she employs.

As she continued to become a recognized expert in the Toronto nanny/caregiving community, one of Lucia’s employers suggested that she open her own agency and in 2008, she did just that.
